GCTV, which is operated mostly by volunteers, provides live broadcast coverage of various Town government meetings. In addition, GCTV’s mission is to broadcast informative and inspiring programming for Greenwich residents. They are broadcast on Channel 79 (Cablevision/Altice) and Channel 24 (Verizon). GCTV also can be accessed via YouTube
Live coverage of government meetings include:
- The Board of Selectmen
- The Representative Town Meeting
- Planning and Zoning Commission
- Board of Estimate and Taxation
GCTV also rebroadcasts programming throughout the week and keeps extensive archives for easy viewing accessibility. Other areas of coverage include meetings of the Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Agency, local election debates, the Retired Men’s Association weekly speakers series, special events such as the Fourth of July celebration, documentaries, interviews, public and private school features and news related segments.
